Before seeing this video I’ve never heard of photogrammetry, but it sure can be beautiful.
Artist Julien Horsthuis calls Amsterdam his home, and wanted to take a different look at his surroundings by capturing and editing the things he sees every day.

Momentum by TNW is our New York technology event for anyone interested in helping their company grow.
His work normally involves creating trips through fantasy worlds, but for his latest project he decided to find his inspiration around him. The pictures used as the source material were captured using photogrammetry and combined with the fractal formulas of Mandelbulb to create a world that is both recognizable and abstract.
By adding other effects like rain and snow Horsthuis successfully created a mesmerizing way to escape the real world, at least for a few minutes.
