Some online comments can actually be useful – it’s the truth that moaning writers don’t tend to mention – but they’re usually swamped by the sheer volume of terrible, no good, awful aggression, snark and spite.
If you’re someone who tends to let your id go wild below the line or are just a prat in real life too (I’m sure you’re not), get one of these badges and change your ways.

New York, meet the world’s tech scene
5,000 Tech leaders are coming to NYC this November to learn and do business. This is your chance to join them.
London-based designer Veronica Dearly has created the ‘Don’t be a dick’ club with the express purpose of persuading people to… you know… be less dickish. How do you join? It’s simple. She explains: “Just buy a badge and take the pledge to not be a dick.”
I think we can all manage that. Especially as the badges only cost $8 (£5). Oh, by the way, I’m definitely getting one. I’m such a dick.
