Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is the follow up to Shaq Fu, the only game with a website dedicated to finding old copies of the game and destroying them.

Last year the former basketball star took to IndieGoGo to find funding for the sequel, which focuses on a basketball player charged with beating the living hell out of thugs and people wearing rice hats.

Shaq managed to raise the $450,000 he was looking for and as sure as night follows day we are now graced with the trailer.
For anyone not lucky enough to know the game’s backstory: Shaquille O’Neal walks into a dojo while heading to a charity basketball game in Tokyo, Japan.
After speaking with Leotsu, a martial arts master, Shaq goes to another dimension, the Second World, where he must rescue a young boy named Nezu from the evil mummy Sett Ra (thanks, Wikipedia).

This time round we’re introduced to a slew of new characters including “ excessively surgically enhanced Chun Li”, “corn-row guy with giant vat of Sizzurp” and “fat guy with more nods to Nazism than the Nuremberg rally”.
Shaq Fu: A Hero Reborn is slated to hit the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Wii U sometime in 2016.
