The internet is full of little surprising things designers add to their builds of websites. Over on Reddit, a small community is posting their favorite loading icon gifs.

Designers have even started just creating their own just to post on r/loadingicon. I’ve spent most of my weekend searching through them.
Like old good subreddits, there are strickt rules. Gifs need to be a closed loop, and need to be animated either by hand or computer.
Gifs derived from film, TV or other video sources aren’t allowed. Apart from that, designers are free to get creative.
It’s moments like this that make trawling the interwebs worthwhile.
